This privacy policy applies to our website “Guftugoo In Style” and our two Apps. The two Apps are Android App “Guftugoo In Style” also known as “Guftugoo In StyleEZ ” and iOS App “My Diwaan and Shayari Collection”. Our website address is: https://guftugoo.com. The Android App is available on Google Play and Amazon appstore. The iOS App is available on Apple App Store.
Any exceptions for the Apps are noted in the relevant sections.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the website we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. The Android App “Guftugoo In Style” does not allow users to upload images. The iOS App “My Diwaan and Shayari Collection” allows users to save the image from the phone’s album into the app but it is not shared through the app with other users and is only saved on the original device.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Our Android App “Guftugoo In Style”, Our iOS App “My Diwaan and Shayari Collection” and our website GUFTUGOO.COM use third party services and plugins that may collect data. Our company and staff do not have access or control over that data and we do not take any implicit or explicit responsibility for the data collected by the third party service providers or plugins.

Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
The Android App “Guftugoo In Style” and iOS App “My Diwaan and Shayari Collection” do not have any password features.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
The Android App “Guftugoo In Style” and iOS App “My Diwaan and Shayari Collection” do not have the features to register accounts and store metadata.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Google AdMob Mobile Ads SDK (iOS)
To improve the performance of AdMob, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect certain information from apps, including:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of a device.
- Non-user related crash logs, which may be used to diagnose problems and improve the SDK. Diagnostic information may also be used for advertising and analytics purposes.
- User-associated performance data such as app launch time, hang rate, or energy usage, which may be used to evaluate user behavior, understand the effectiveness of existing product features, and plan new features. Performance data may also be used for displaying ads, including sharing with other entities that display ads.
- A Device ID, such as the device’s advertising identifier or other app- or developer-bounded device identifiers, which may be used for the purpose of third-party advertising and analytics.
- Advertising data, such as advertisements the user has seen, may be used to power analytics and advertising features.
- Other user product interactions like app launch taps, and interaction information, like video views, may be used to improve advertising performance.
- All of the user data collected by Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol.

Data collected and shared automatically
The Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares the following data types automatically for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention purposes.

Data handling
Android ad ID collection is optional. The ad ID can be reset or deleted by users using ad ID controls in the Android settings menu. As the app developer, you can prevent the collection of ad IDs by updating the app’s manifest file.
Certain other features in the Google Mobile Ads SDK, such as the Limited Ads feature, may also disable transmission of the ad ID and other data.
